Exhale Group

Exhale.Group is a leading organisation championing QTIPOC+ (Queer, Trans, Intersex People of Colour) communities in Scotland. It tackles the unique challenges at the intersection of race and LGBTQIA+ identity by creating safe spaces, amplifying marginalised voices, and driving systemic change. Through workshops, support groups, and training, Exhale.Group fosters joy, belonging, and resilience, led by and for QTIPOC+ individuals.

In 2021, founder Mahasin partnered with NKG on a strategic community action research project to address systemic barriers impacting QTIPOC+ communities. Centring community voices, the project identified inequities and developed actionable strategies to redefine inclusion in Scotland’s equality landscape.

Exhale.Group envisions a future where intersectional identities are celebrated, and QTIPOC+ individuals thrive unapologetically. Through bold advocacy and transformative action, it is creating a Scotland rooted in justice, joy, and empowerment.
